When looking words of comfort due to the loss of
someone special, sometimes sympathy quotes are just what you are looking
for. Use them in a condolence letter along with your bereavement phrases
or in a sympathy card. You may find a use for them in a homemade
gift or as a message to go with flowers. We hope whatever you need them
for, you will find them useful.
"I know for certain that we never lose
the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every
act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible
imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have
been enriched by having shared their love."
This quote is by far one of my favourite quotes
explaining how although we have lost someone from this world, they will
never completely be gone. There is a part of us that is affected by each
individual we meet, and even more so by those we have come to love. And
every day we go on, is another day that person lives on in us.
"While we are mourning the loss of our friend, others are rejoicing
to meet him behind the veil."
When we leave this world, I think the majority of
us believe there is something or someone waiting for us on the other
side. When we are grieving, we sometimes feel as if that person is not
happy or alone. But we need to remember that others have gone before
him/her and he/she will not be alone and will be happy with those they
have been waiting to see themselves.
"Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where
the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let
us know that they are happy."
I love to hear the thoughts of people about their
belief’s of where people go when they die and what they do up in heaven.
How they show us they’re okay. This one is a new one to me, but a
favourite. Now every time I look up at the stars I will think of this
quote and know my loved ones are letting me know they’re happy!
"As a well-spent day brings happy sleep, so a life well used brings
This quote makes perfect sense and would be a
sense of relief to many people left behind. If you spend you’re time
here on earth living and being happy, why should that change in the
afterlife. This is why we shouldn’t be afraid of death, we should
embrace it as its the next step in our journey.
